Giraffe

The giraffe (Giraffa) is an African artiodactylmammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant. It is traditionally considered to be one species, Giraffa camelopardalis, with nine subspecies. However, the existence of up to eight extantgiraffe species has been described, based upon research into the mitochondrial and nuclear DNA, as well as morphological measurements of Giraffa. Seven other species are extinct, prehistoric species known from fossils.
I'm a giraffe, and I always enjoy meeting short people, which compared to me is just about everyone. We're almost 20 feet high, so, it's easy for us to eat from tall trees and see predators from far away.

I'm so tall that when I drink I have to spread my front legs far apart so my mouth can reach the water. It takes some time to get up again, so, first I check around to make sure sneaky lions aren't watching.

Even though I'm very large, the pattern on my fur helps to hide me when I'm near the trees. For self defense, I'm not only a champion kicker, but I can swing my head down like a giant hammer!

Long-Tongued Bat in Shia Kijima Chronicle (2020 October 2nd Games) Mexican Long-Tongued Bat The  Mexican long-tongued bat  ( Choeronycteris mexicana ) is a species of  bat  in the family  Phyllostomidae . It is  monotypic  within the genus  Choeronycteris . [2]  The species is found in  El Salvador ,  Guatemala ,  Honduras ,  Mexico , and the  United States . I'm a Long-Tongued Bat, one of the smallest of the bats. In some ways I have a similar job to be a bee or a hummingbird. My nose might look long and funny, but, hey, I have to keep my tongue somewhere! Like other bats I fly at night looking for food. But my food is the nectar from cactus and agave flowers which I slurp up with my long tongue. It only takes a second to visit each flower. That makes me one busy bat. When I drink from a flower, the flower's pollen brushes onto my fur. Because of me, all the flowers I visit get a little bit of pollen from each other....
